September 2004 marked the relocation of Room 101 to
Upper Richmond Road in Putney, a move prompted by the need for more space and
ease of transport connections.
Located conveniently between London Underground's East Putney
station (District Line) and British Rail's Putney station (South West Trains), our new
office is within easy walking distance (250 yards) of both, as well as being on the South
Circular Road (A205) within easy reach of the
A3. We are opposite Oxford Road and the "Prince of Wales" pub.
Putney and East Putney stations are in both Zone 2 and Zone 3
How to get to us from London main railway terminals:
- Victoria or Paddington - Catch Westbound District Line train to Wimbledon - no change necessary. Alight at East Putney.
- Waterloo - Catch stopping service from platforms 17,18,19 at Waterloo. Alight at Putney.
- London Bridge Take Jubilee Line to Waterloo, then catch stopping service from platforms 17,18,
19 at Waterloo. Alight at Putney.
- Liverpool Street - Catch Central Line to Bank, change onto Waterloo and City Line, catch stopping service from platforms 17,18,
19 at Waterloo. Alight at Putney.
- Kings Cross/St Pancras/Euston - Catch Victoria Line to Vauxhall, then change onto British Rail platform 4, for South West Trains service to Putney.
How to get to us from London airports:
- Heathrow (LHR) - Catch the Piccadilly Line to Earl's Court, then change to the District Line to Wimbledon, alighting at East Putney.
- Gatwick (LGW) - Catch a northbound Southern train to Clapham Junction, (not the Gatwick Express), then catch a train from platform 5, alighting at Putney.
- London City (LCY) - Catch the Blue Bus to Canary Wharf, then take the Jubilee Line to Waterloo, then catch stopping service from platforms 17,18, 19 at Waterloo. Alight at Putney.
