Lightwave Limited are a wholesale manufacturer and distributor of a wide range (1000+) of cable and
connector products for the audio/visual and related industries. They came to us in 1998 with a simple
4 page web site, with the intention of putting their entire range online, based on their existing
paper catalog.
The site we built was aimed at the consumer market, and therefore included a shopping basket,
e-commerce system, search engine, and pictures and diagrams of all products. The site continues to
take a steady stream of online orders, and is updated regularly using a supplied Excel spreadsheet
containing full details on each product in the range.
